Counts and assets covers the three subpages a work has of its own, which is where a readership number, a full size figure and the actual rows of a table come from. Enumerating the site is the other way in: not searching for something, but listing what is there. The open indexes leaves link.springer.com for the three hosts that answer what it does not, which is where a followable reference list and the works that cite one come from. Building a graph walks those edges into nodes and edges, in ten formats, and is where the rule that nothing is merged on a guess is spelled out.
